Doggie Hamlet
by Ann Carlson

SL County Equestrian Park and Event Center

Combining human performers, herding dogs, and a flock of sheep, Doggie Hamlet is a full-length outdoor performance that weaves dance, visual, and theatrical elements with aspects from competitive sheep herding trials. Created by visionary artist and choreographer Ann Carlson, Doggie Hamlet invites the audience to experience a live landscape painting or a 3D pastoral poem. Through story, motion, location, and stillness, Doggie Hamlet explores attachment and loss, and is a unique performance to kick off our season of eclectic programming.
